About Chrome & Light Studios
Chrome & Light Studios was started back in 2007, but is the culmination of its founders 30 years in the Arts that is behind its success today. Chrome & Light is really made up of 3 divisions.
• We offer Vintage inspired Automotive Photography using real film and vintage cameras.
• Hand built 3D Shadow Boxes featuring our photography.
• T-shirt Screen Printing Studio.
Originally it was a return to traditional photography that started the company. Working to preserve vintage photography in a growing world of digital noise was out first slogan. Using years of traditional photography experience to capture images of collector cars and Hot Rods. Having many friends in the Kustom Kulture world made it easy to find great cars and shops to work with. A large part of our work could be seen in magazines in your favorite news stand.
After working in the automotive field of photography and meeting amazing artist, it was time for another challenge. Chrome & Light started producing custom art pieces for galleries in the Southern California area. Showing Photography in Galleries is not as easy as it sounds. People love to look at pictures, but few will consider it art. We found a way to pull the image out of a flat frame and bring it alive. Highlighting not just the photography, but also showing potential clients the skill put into the work and a dedication to creating something they would love to feature in their own house. Having access to screen equipment and a love for creating things by hand made for a perfect partnership. After a few refresher courses in printing and some help from some very talented friends… Chrome & Light Studios T-shirt shop was built. I am sure everyone at one time wishes they knew somebody that did T-shirts. Haven’t you ever wanted to put out a design of your own, but never knew how to do it or how much it would cost. We are here to make your design or idea a reality. It seems complicated at first, but we are here to explain the process and work within your budget to get your job done.
